Bojangles French Fry Seasoning Recipe

5 from 1 vote
Hi friends! I am so happy to share one of my most loved recipes with you today. This is how I make seasoning just like Bojangles uses on their yummy french fries. I found out how to make it at home and it’s so easy!

I love to put this mix on my fries when they come hot out of the oven. It makes them taste just like the ones from the restaurant. My kids ask for these “special fries” all the time now!

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper if you want it a bit spicy

Method

  1. Get all your spices ready. Make sure to measure each one carefully!
  2. Put the salt, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in your bowl.
  3. Add the celery salt, black pepper, and chili powder to the bowl too.
  4. If you like it a bit spicy, add a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper.
  5. Mix everything together really well with your spoon or whisk.
  6. Sprinkle the mix on hot fries right after they come out of the oven or fryer.
  7. For extra yummy fries, mix a little bit of the seasoning with oil before you toss your fries in it.

Notes

Keep your seasoning mix in a jar with a tight lid. Store it in a cool, dry place like your spice cabinet. It will stay yummy for up to 3 months! Give the jar a little shake before using it if the spices settle.
